Zenit achieves NERS accreditation for networks up to 11 kV

Zenit has achieved NERS accreditation for networks up to 11kV in size across all District Network Operators (DNO) regions in the UK following a successful application and assessment process.

The scheme is administered by LRQA, on behalf of the UK’s DNOs, making it the definitive standard for electrical works in the sector.

While we have operated NERS accredited providers in the past as part of our supply chain, we now have the accreditation ourselves. This is the next step for our business and further deepens the range of services we are able to offer our clients in the following ways:

  • We can now utilise a greater pool of quality suppliers who may not have the accreditation themselves.
  • All providers will have their own RAMS, but their quality is variable. We can now guarantee that all suppliers will operate to our exceptional RAMS standards. Anyone who doesn’t live up to our standards can be replaced with ease.
  • We can now exert total control over projects. That means we take on more risk as the authorised provider, but we can make decisions faster and provide a better service to clients.

Ryan Campbell, Managing Director at Zenit, celebrated the achievement, saying: “Achieving NERS accreditation is a big step for Zenit and means we can offer an even better service than before.

“Reaching this point is a big achievement for the business and everyone who works here. We are extremely proud of our achievements and look forward to doing even better work in future now we are fully NERS accredited.”
